Embedded in the Sierra de Levant, the eastern hill site, there are many idyllic villages.  There is something to discover everywhere. Whether it is the handicraft in Arta, winding alleys with small boutiques, restaurants and bars in Capdepera or the lively Cala Millor. For sun lovers the long white sandy beach of Cala Millor or one of the numerous small bays called "Calas" are the perfect solution.   In culinary terms, countless good restaurants offer a rich and varied cuisine.

Sport activity is also provided at any time. Improve your handy cap on the golf courses Capdepera, Canyamel or Son Servera. Play tennis like the professionals at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy in Manacor. Take a trip to the sea with your own yacht or rent a charter yacht with skipper.  Visit one of the many beach clubs to relax and enjoy the sun or take a dive or snorkel tour and enjoy the underwater world.  The east coast is also an “el Dorado” for cyclists.

Something Went Wrong

To the east is the artist town of Artà, with its mountain fort and ancient Mallorcan culture. Here, handicrafts are still appreciated and the town is known for its ceramics and basket making. In Canyamel, with a nearby stalactite cave, a large medieval market is held every May, showcasing the many handicrafts.
The region around Artà with its picturesque mountain village of the same name is one of the most varied landscapes on the island. Due to the noble golf courses - 3 in number - and a variety of other leisure and water sports facilities, the villa areas of Costa de los Pinos and Canyamel enjoy great popularity among locals and foreign owners.
Further northeast, on the small peninsula behind the town of Arta, you can visit a hermitage: the Ermita de Betlém.
